Commentary
Have you noticed that some authors write from a viewpoint different from that of our community. This may include that written in text books, newspapers, magazines, television specials, etc. The difference is that these authors write from a perspective which is typical to the religious position of Naturalism. They may have done this under the pretense of not wanting to offend a few to gain the hearing of all. So the beliefs of many are conflicted instead.
Our community's viewpoint is predominantly Christian. Therefore when authors and teachers uses such a word such as "luck", it should be viewed as events which happen according to the providence of God. These events may have the character of supernatural intervention beyond the planned, efforted, empowered ability of the individual.
If we ascribe such events to fate rather than the immediate action of God, we will react wrongly to those events. This endangers us to suffer loss of blessing and fail to make appropriate adjustments to lifestyle accordingly.
Perhaps using the word providence or "That is providential." rather than luck would be a good choice.
We do not need 30 definitions of conservative when one will do.

The Fort Armstrong Wireless Association
Is holding a Field Day this weekend behind the home of WB3ING (Moe) located at 40 41' 26.03N 79 28' 26.22W (click this link for a map). This is on Campbell - State Road 2015 off of Garretts Run. It is near the upper Crooked Creek Reservoir to the east. The public is invited and encouraged to drop in during this two day event on June 23 & 24. They will also help others become involved in this vital community service. This organization is able to keep communications available when no other services are possible during an emergency. It can be a lot of fun too. There are real community benefits with this. Young people and young adults are particularly encouraged to come and see what is possible.
