Ford City  Heritage Days

Many of the people who bring displays to this festival come year after year. The local residents and those near by have made this a part of their 4th of July tradition. Here a local farmer loves to bring a wide variety of animals and make them available as a live petting zoo.

Here are a group of volunteers who bring tasty food to the community. In front is a loyal customer and friend who made the rounds several times this year for a piece of home made pie.

If you want variety and choices. This was the tent to go by.

Someone did sculptures in metal.

Here, Rita Altman of COUNTRY and WOOD CRAFTS creatively put into use a study in commercial art. She took a serious course in her youth. Today she has taught it to her daughter and grandchildren. The art work is original and complex. This booth displays creativity and personality.

For many years, a booth was manned by this couple. They did spin art. Over the winter, they both met with medical problems and died. The festival for the nearby distributors is not the same. This picture is a sample of the loyalty in friendship and remembrance which happens between participants behind the scene at festivals such as this one.
