Representative Kelly spoke at the Smith Complex near Elderton
U.S. Representative Mike Kelly said that most people seem to not know that there are two houses of congress when they talk about congress being disfunctional.
The House of Representatives has consistently and responsibly passed budget bills and many others. But Harry Reed, controller of the Senate, has systematically tabled them with no discussion, no committee work, and no votes. They will not present any alternatives to a budget. It is the Senate, controlled by Harry Reed, which is disfunctional.
Representative Kelly straight forwardly visited with many people at this "We are Armstrong County" meeting. He took hard questions and gave clear answers. We can be greatful to County Commission candidate Dave Battaglia for sponsoring this second meeting of the summer promoting Armstrong County.
