Davis Consulting, Inc. Helps Businesses and Seniors Navigate Computer Technology.
Since 2000, Davis Consulting, Inc. has provided computer programming, LAN administration, network design, training and customer service and support throughout the region. In October 2009, Davis Consulting opened an office at 220 S. Jefferson St. in downtown Kittanning. They also have an office in Greensburg to serve a number of small business customers there.
In talking with Wendell Davis, it is learned that he comes from a family who owns small businesses in the Kittanning area. Kittanning was chosen to be the place for this small business because of family loyalty. He has hometown loyalties. Wendell is a veteran of the military. He also was employed by corporate America and left determined to make his mark in small business. He moved back to the area settling in Greensburg because his wife is from there. He began working with his family as a part of their businesses. Then he chose to branch out and begin Davis Consulting.
Because of his interest in community service, Wendell also purposes to promote community education in computer literacy. His company provides support to the Armstrong Educational Trust. This agency enables training classes both for seniors and businesses. Coffee and Donut sessions are provided for businesses and their employees. These free bite-sized training sessions last for an hour or so. They are intended to introduce small businesses and employees to specific aspects of computer technology and automation including Microsoft Office applications and QuickBooks.
