The January Installation of our Elected Officers.

The following video is made up of several exerpts of the January 2012 installation of Public Officials. Please forgive the occasional jumps and breaks, but you will see what is important, their swearing in to office. It was a very dignified event and an important part of our form of government.

This is a video of the installation. They may remain in office so long as they "so behave themselves." Such behaviour is defined in our Commonwealth Constitution and our Federal Constitution. They do not define behavior. Their behavior is defined for them.

Commentary

Perspective: Clarifying the term "luck."                                                                Click here

Have you noticed that some authors write from a viewpoint different from that of our community. This may include that written in text books, newspapers, magazines, television specials, etc. The difference is that these authors write from a perspective which is typical to the religious position of Naturalism. They may have done this under the pretense of not wanting to offend a few to gain the hearing of all. So the beliefs of many are conflicted instead.

Our community's viewpoint is predominantly Christian. Therefore when authors and teachers uses such a word such as "luck", it should be viewed as events which happen according to the providence of God. These events may have the character of supernatural intervention beyond the planned, efforted, empowered ability of the individual.

If we ascribe such events to fate rather than the immediate action of God, we will react wrongly to those events. This endangers us to suffer loss of blessing and fail to make appropriate adjustments to lifestyle accordingly.

Perhaps using the word providence or "That is providential." rather than luck would be a good choice.

Perspective: Why lose your liberties!"                                                                  Click here

Why you lose your liberties!

"I answer: the genius of the whole system; the nature of just and constitutional laws; and above all, the vigilant and manly spirit which actuates the people of America -- a spirit which nourishes freedom, and in return is nourished by it."

"If this spirit shall ever be so far debased as to tolerate a law not obligatory on the legislature, as well as on the people, the people will be prepared to tolerate any thing but liberty."

The Federalist paper #57 by James Madison - a founding father of this republic.
